Eco Cruises of the Pumicestone Passage
We operate as a charter boat business and specialise in GROUP CHARTERS & PRIVATE CHARTERS with public cruises scheduled each week depending on demand.

Ferryman Cruises Bribie Island offers 2, 3, 4, and 6 hour eco cruises of the Pumicestone Passage Marine Park, which is situated between Bribie Island, Caloundra, and mainland Australia - about 40km north of Brisbane. Throughout our cruises commentary is provided that relates to the environmental significance of the area, it's relationship to the catchment as well as the Aboriginal and European history and the scene as it is today.

The PUMICESTONE PASSAGE MARINE PARK is recognised as one of the most important bird and marine habitats on the east coast of Australia, and is considered to be the smallest estaurine area in the world that has a permanent population of Dugongs. Cruises aboard 'The Ferryman' give you the chance of seeing Dugong, Dolphins, Turtle, Jabiru, Swans, Sea Eagles, Osprey, and Kangaroos as well as some of the 360 different bird species sighted here - many of which migrate from the Northern Hemisphere to these shores each year.
This marine park is on the CAMBA and JAMBA agreements and is a registered RAMSAR site - an international agreement between countries that have committed to maintaining and looking after migratory bird habitats.
Our cruises are catered and include either Morning tea, Devonshire tea, BBQ or Buffet lunch or dinner, and nibblies are provided on the sunset cruises.
We can create a cruise to suit you and we offer Private Charters, Group Charters, Public cruises as booked, and are available for School Excursions. Check our Cruise Schedule to see what is currently available.
Our prices include cruise time and catering as specified.

Payment for general public and group charters is done on the day of the cruise, on board, by cash or cheque only. For general public, if you book and find you cannot make the cruise, we ask, as a courtesy, please give us a quick call or email. Payment via EFT can be arranged for Private and Group Charters.

Gift Vouchers are available to purchase. All vouchers are for 2 people and we have 2 types available:
1: A 3 hour Devonshire Tea Cruise - price for this voucher is $77 which is for 2 people and includes p&h - this cruise runs every Thursday and others days if scheduled
2: A 3 hour Sunset Special Cruise - price for this voucher is $61 which is for 2 people and includes p&h - this cruise is run on the last Saturday of each month.
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months and can be used towards any of our other cruises such as a lunch cruise or the 6 hr Explorer cruise where balance due can be paid on the day. No refund applies if a cruise of lesser value is taken instead.
Once payment has been received, we can send the voucher out to either the recipient or the giver - just let us know. These can be organised through our Inquiry Page.

We may be out of the office organising logistics for our cruises. If it is during office hours or we have a cruise on, the landline is generally forwarded to a mobile for us to be contactable. Otherwise check our current cruise schedule and then book online! We pride ourselves on quickly responding to all email enquiries as soon as possible.
