The Ferryman Boat

Welcome Aboard

A trip to Bribie Island isn’t complete without a cruise aboard the Ferryman.  Experience the natural beauty of the Pumicestone Passage, see the majestic Glasshouse Mountains and visit many areas only accessible on one of our tours.

Ferryman Cruises offers a range of cruises of the Pummicestone Passage and its Marine Park and is also available for charter for your private function.  Whether it be a chartered service or a scenic cruise for a day out on the water, Ferryman Cruises has something for everyone.

The Ferryman cruises up the Pumicestone Passage which runs between Bribie Island and the mainland towards Caloundra and takes in the shipwreck of the SS Avon, grand views of the Glasshouse Mountains, then the township of Toorbul, and follows the historic channel that Mathew Flinders found over 200 years ago – past Donnybrook.

Depending on the length of the cruise we may enter the area known as Tripcony Bight which is the oldest registered fish habitat area in Queensland. This provides the opportunity to view Thomas Martin Tripcony’s original chimney stack built in the 1860′s, take in Mission Point or have morning tea in Glass Mountain Creek.

The Pumicestone Passage is an extremely important waterway with more bird species than Kakadu.  These living waterways are home to dugong, dolphins, turtles and many different species of birds. Our cruises are relaxing, informative with a friendly crew who want you to have a truly amazing experience.

Our waters are a favourite holiday destination for families. Come cruising with us and we’ll show you why it’s always been so popular.

Our cruises are catered and include either Morning tea, Devonshire tea, BBQ or Buffet lunch or dinner, and nibblies are provided on the sunset cruises.
